It may not be the most famous church in Rome, don’t be fooled by the simple front part of the building, built on the top of the Capitoline hill, belonging to a Franciscan institution, with a beautiful wooden ceiling, and a special room at the back, with A small wooden statue of Jesus in his infancy.
It is a magnificent building that can be seen from a long distance. The continuous bells of the church reminded us that it was 6 o'clock when we arrived. At that time the main entrance was closed, but there were still a steady stream of people coming here. It was a really nice place!
This is definitely a place you must visit. After passing through the Roman Forum, I stumbled upon this church.
