Behind the memorial to the unknown soldier, located about 750 meters northeast of the gymnasium, there is an elevator to go up and enjoy the panoramic view of the city, but this is for a fee. The large statues on both sides of the stairs lead to the entrance, which is guarded by soldiers armed with live ammunition.

To commemorate the heroes who died during the First World War, the Tomb of Unknown Heroes was built under the base of Victor Emmanuel's Second Century Memorial Hall in 1921, in which the body of an unknown soldier was placed. So it is commonly called the Monument of Unknown Heroes. There are two torches in front of the tomb of the unknown hero. Every year during the Italian National Day, a ceremony is held here, where the President of the Republic of Italy personally presides over the laying of a wreath to an unknown hero. When heads of state visit, they usually pay tribute to the altar.

There is an indelible fire, which has been guarded by soldiers. It's a museum of war, and it can also climb the telescope with great momentum.
