d36***08Animal husbandry is a pillar industry in New Zealand. Pastures and farms abound in New Zealand. Agora Farm in Rotorua is New Zealand's largest tourist farm integrating animal husbandry and tourism. The most eye-catching thing is the rural scenery. On the pasture, there are green grass, flocks of cattle and sheep, or alone ~ leisurely and contented; in the orchard, fruit trees are lined up with bent branches ~ fruitful; deep in the farm, there are several management staff’s residences in Wan The green bushes reveal a little red top~ it adds a bit of elegance. The most impressive is the comprehensive travel services. The farm has a large area, and you need to take a sightseeing car when visiting. The sightseeing car pulled by a large tractor is unique to the scenic spot and has become a unique landscape. The farm has mostly Chinese tourists, and many guides and narrators who are fluent in Chinese are arranged to lead the crowd together. The atmosphere of a foreign country and the feeling of being at home~ It's so good! The most fascinating thing is the close contact with animals. The farm has opened up several areas, allowing tourists to have close contact with animals, the most eye-catching alpaca, which is hard to see in China. Countless alpacas, unique body shapes, elegant gait, cute looks, embarrassing looks, and fluffy feel, make people laugh.
d36***08The Maori are the aboriginals of New Zealand and the earliest aborigines of this land. Rotorua is a gathering place for Maori people. There are many Maori cultural villages in the Rotorua area. Through numerous Maori-style buildings and sculptures, as well as geothermal fountains that can be seen everywhere, visitors are shown the long history and culture of the Maori people and the unique geothermal landscape of Rotorua. The Te Puia Maori Cultural Village, located on the south side of Lake Rotorua, is the one with the richest resources, the most comprehensive displays, and the most popular. Walk into the cultural village with strong ethnic style. In the solemn conference hall, sonorous and charming Maori songs and dances are performed; on the spacious promenade, colorful and unique Maori sculptures are displayed; the reconstructed living area is scattered In the old, simple and durable aboriginal dwellings and storage rooms; in the small kiwi exhibition hall, a few lazy birds pacing among the gloomy grass~ It is a blessing to see and gain insight.
denis天涯任我行Drive for 25 minutes to the Geothermal Wonderland Park outside the town. The route is from Rotorua to the south along the SH5 road to Taupo, passing through the Redwood Forest Park area, traveling about 27 kilometers, following the signs and turning into one On the trail in the forest, from time to time we see wisps of white smoke coming out of the woods, and a faint sulphur smell blowing in the wind. The Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park is at the end of the trail. (The ticket office has a free guidebook in English and Chinese) Entering the park, the plank road is covered by fog, the smell of sulfur is getting stronger, the color in front of you is slowly changing, the flowers are gone, and the green is gradually changing Very rare, the emerald-green trees were smoked and stained by sulfur, and the whole land was bruised, leaving only dead branches and leaves, as if they had come to "hell on earth." It turns out that this is a relic left by a volcano. To be precise, it is a dormant active volcano. The open area is only a small part. The highest temperature recorded is 300C°. The groundwater flows over the surface of the magma stone and can be smelled everywhere. The strong smell of rotten eggs, if you can't smell this strange smell, there is a possibility of volcanic eruption. The road signs in the park clearly indicate that there are three connected circular trails, divided into 30-minute, 40-minute, and 75-minute scenic trails of different durations, totaling 3 kilometers. The length of the route is marked in red, orange, and yellow. There are 25 scenic spots on the trail, which can be seen in turn in a circle. Note that for your own safety, to avoid scalds, burns and corrosion, please follow the signs and walk on the formed trails when entering Wai-O-Tapu. Please do not cross the barriers of the restricted area without authorization. Do not pick up rocks, branches or other objects in the park. There is NOSMOKING.
妖空I’ve been to a great hot spring twice. The first time was the luxurious pool that caught the light rain in the morning. Although it was raining, the view was still great on the lake because of the raindrops, and the mist was occasional with wild ducks and seagulls on the lake. Spread their wings and tidy their feathers as if they are also enjoying this moment of leisure in the hot spring. The temperature of the hot spring is moderate. Don't worry about soaking for too long and fainting. There are not many luxurious pools but the scenery is beautiful. There are few people very peaceful and comfortable. The second time is at night. The ordinary lake view pool I chose is a bit disappointed. The clothes need to be placed in the frame instead of in the cabinet. Although there are cabinets, the door can only be opened and closed once.☹️ There are a lot of people and the inner wall of the pool is a bit rough. It is uncomfortable to sit for a long time and occasionally move. When the people are too messy, many people wear slippers to go to the pool and still think it is OK. The water is very dirty. There is always a tingling feeling on the body. Although the second experience is not good, the quality of the hot spring is still good. It’s very sweet and it’s recommended to have a slippery skin. The luxury pool is more expensive but the experience is excellent (the photos are all of the luxury pool)
Awesome spa experience
We had the deluxe package and loved every minute of it. The massages were superb and the hot pools were amazing - especially the private pool after the massage. The lunch was also excellent. What really stood out was how well organised everything was with impeccable service. #wintergetaway
Agrodome is a great place to visit that we have learnt lots with the show include demonstration on how to shave the sheep, types of sheep and more. After the show, we had tour to the farm and feed the animals. It is great place to visit with family.
The redwoods in New Zealand aren’t as big as those in California but if you’re in the area definitely go by and see them. They have built bridges in the canopy and it puts me in mind of the Ewok Village from Star Wars. You can also walk the trails or rent a bicycle and enjoy the area. This is another nice place in New Zealand where you can get outdoors and just enjoy nature!
While on the North Island of New Zealand I visited the glowworm caves and we rafted. I had whitewater rafted before and was expecting something adventurous like that. However, the water in the glowworm caves was peaceful and lacked some of the adventure I was expecting. This would be a wonderful family adventure.
Today is an alpaca breeder. The Eldondon Farm is New Zealand's largest sightseeing ranch. It can be used to feed alpaca, sheep and other animals. Since alpacas and sheep are herbivorous animals, there is only one row of teeth. Don't worry about feeding. I will be hurt in the middle.
The Whakarewa Geothermal Reserve, when it comes in, smells a faint smell of sulphur, which is the smell of rotten eggs. The geyser erupts in about an hour, just in time for the eruption of the geyser. There is a kind of apocalyptic under the backlight. Its a sense of sight, and the surrounding hot springs are very developed. Its worth trying.
Blue Springs on the North Island of New Zealand, unique landscape
saw many springs around the world, but never seen the blue springs like the North Island of New Zealand. It is located 9 kilometers east of Tilau, a google map on a famous "map" blue spring. In fact, I want to say that New Zealand has no concept of attractions, the scenery is very good everywhere, and there is no place where there is a crowd of people. Not to mention that most of the places are natural, and there are very few tickets to buy.
blue sping is a non-wide river. There is a trail along this river. The trail is not short. It takes 2-3 hours to walk through. It takes about half an hour to walk from the nearest parking lot to the most beautiful place.
What is special about it here?
The entrance to the trail is an ordinary mountain road, bypassing a mountain, and we hear the sound of water. The water I saw at this time was only a little clearer than the usual river water. The afternoon sun was very full, and the bottom of the water could be seen at a glance, as if the water was not very deep. Continue to go inside, the trail began to squat close to the water, the light in the canyon was darker, and the more clearly it was seen.
Our hand is a very beautiful and pure stream, all from the spring water of the Mamaku Plateau. The water here is very good, and nearly 70% of the bottled mineral water in New Zealand comes from this place.
It cost me the most expensive entrance fee, an adult wants 32.5NZD, but it is worth the money. The geothermal park is actually composed of two parts, one is the Lady
Knox Geyser area not far from the northeast of the visitor center; the other part is located at the southwest end. Tourist Park's main tourist area (ThermalPark).
The order of the tour is from the SH5 down to the main entrance, drive for two minutes, marked on the map of the Waiotapu
Thermal Track, there is also a mud pool Mud pool, which is the largest in New Zealand. The main tourist area is particularly large, divided into large circles and small circles. It takes nearly 2 hours to complete the big circle. It takes 45 minutes to take the shortest route and only visit the main attractions. The
Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park is a miniature Yellowstone Park that has been formed by thousands of years of volcanic activity. There are three very interesting geothermal pools inside.
One of them is Artist's Palette (artist's palette). The
name is very artistic, and the real color pool that you actually see is also like a palette. The different colors of the stroke in the water are due to different trace elements. Green is from ferrous salt, yellow is from sulphur, orange is from sputum, and brown is from iron oxide. The Champagne Pool is the symbol of the Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park and a place for Wu Qilong and Liu Shishi to take wedding photos.
