About Rucheng

Rucheng County (汝城县) is under the administration of Chenzhou City in Hunan Province. The county’s thermal hot springs are among the natural hot springs of Southern China, while the secondary forest of Jiulong River National Forest Park is the best preserved and most species-rich in the southern region of China, known as the “Nanling plant kingdom.” Rucheng is a provincial-level city that is full of history and culture, with the “Rucheng incense-burning dragon dance” having been selected as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
