"The old canal (Oudegracht) runs through the center of Utrecht in the Netherlands. It starts in the southeast of the city. The original moat of this fortified town is reached, and the old canal enters the city center from there. The southern part of the canal began in 1122, when the water level of the Rhine in Utrecht dropped due to the new dam of Wijk bij Duurstede. The excavated ground is used to raise both sides of the canal to reduce the possibility of flooding."

"Just another Canal you must see. Or be in the canal itself by boat. Like with the Amsterdam Boat Company."

"This small fishing village is quite unique. The town is very quiet and has a commercial area. The place near the fishing port is more for tourists. You can take traditional Dutch photos at reasonable prices. Then you can take a cruise to the opposite Marken. We probably finished playing the whole town in half a day, but if we have time, we really recommend staying for one night to feel the rare moments of silence. It’s so comfortable to be in a daze on the beach bench."

"Wonderful example of Amsterdam's waterways. I'd suggest viewing on a boat tour if you can. That way, you can get a holistic picture of the city's layout in reference to the canals. You'll also be crossing over all of the waterways on bridges anyways. So, this is one of those "to dos" you get just for being in the city!"

"This is Amsterdam! ----The canal is very beautiful, and love to walk here. Be careful of cyclists, if you accidentally walk to their bike path, they are welcome! There are too many tourists here! It’s so pleasant to sit in many places and have amazing views, watch the canals and have a drink!"

"The canal house is the canal near the center of the old town of Amsterdam, and the historic buildings along the canal are many, and there are churches, front crossings, school buildings, and traditional buildings with Dutch characteristics. Early morning, very quiet, stroll along the canal bank and take your time to taste the unique charm of the old town"

"BROUWERSGRACHTThe Canal since 1594 owes its name to the many beer breweries in the sixteenth and seventeenth century in this area were to be found. From 1782 sits on the Brouwersgracht near the Driehoekstraat the last Amsterdam distillery of Jenever and liqueurs; De Ooievaar."

"When we reached the observation deck, we were immersed in Aihu, as if we were in heaven. The beachfront location is excellent, in the center. There are various pool areas, suitable for all kinds of swimming. There are lawns and trees by the water. It seems to be a safe social place, suitable for young people as well as families and adults. There are careful lifeguards on site. The nearby parking lot costs USD 3 for 2 hours. No admission fee."

"One of the many canals in Amsterdam is very famous. The Prince Canal is actually not wide, but there are many beautiful buildings around, there are very beautiful churches, and the surrounding is very lively, there are many places of interest, restaurants and cafes."

"The sun of the early summer is shining lazily on the sea, the endless sea is blown by the sea breeze, and waves are blowing towards the beach on the shore. Every breath of the sea brings golden light, and the birds are on the thin beach. A leisurely stroll."
