Saint-Malo Cathedral

Cathédrale Saint-Vincentde Saint-Malo Saint-Malo Saint Vincent’s Cathedral is located in the heart of the old city. Simple and vigorous, solemn and solemn. Built between the 12th and 18th centuries, it is a landmark of Saint-Malo. Destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt later. The stained glass windows are very beautiful. There is a mosaic tile plaque in the middle of the nave floor where the French explorer Jacques Cartier received the blessing of the Bishop of Saint Malo before going to North America to develop the colony. Opening hours 9:30-18:00. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station.

The Vincent Cathedral is really beautiful, and I like to travel here. Its beauty comes from itself on the one hand, and from the scenery around it on the other hand. This church has a long history and it's really great to be here.

The old city surrounded by city walls was originally an island, but was only connected to the mainland through the Le Sillon Isthmus in the 13th century. During World War II, apart from the city walls, 80% of the buildings in the old city were destroyed by the war. After the war, the French rebuilt them as they were! Thinking of the ancient stone roads in Furong Town being replaced by "modern" concrete roads, my heart was filled with emotions.

It is calm, serene, simple, and vigorous. Being in it, all impetuousness will disappear. Perhaps only this tranquility can enable the priests to devote themselves to practicing, and only this affinity can attract believers from all directions to go up the mountain for pilgrimage regardless of the danger of being swallowed by quicksand and being swept away by the sea.
