Come to St. Petersburg to see the most beautiful buildings, as well as autumn leaves.
St. Petersburg is like a weather-beaten old man. He still uses his profound historical culture and profound culture to create a peaceful and open attitude, telling the legend that the United States can save the world.
St. Petersburg is one of the first cities in the world to be built according to a unified style. It includes almost all the classic architectures of the world from the 18th to the 20th century and Russia. The architectural treasures are numerous, the city It is an open-air architectural museum itself.
Looking at it, the buildings in St. Petersburg are quite contemporary, and the city center does not see a modern building. This feature is rare in major cities around the world. St. Petersburg is enough to dominate the world's classical city. These buildings with centuries of history have both Baroque and Rococo styles; they are both symmetrical and destabilizing; they pursue both grandeur and sculpture details, and each detail embedded in the building is unique. The language speaks of the past of St. Petersburg.
[Recommended spots]
1Hermitage
2Savior on Spilled Blood Cathedral
3 Summer Palace
4Paul Cathedral
It has been said that people who study architecture must go to St. Petersburg once in their lifetime. Not a fake, this is really a paradise in the architectural world.
The Hermitage Museum of the Winter Palace, one of the four major museums in the world, is not inferior to the Louvre, enough for a whole day;
Nevsky Avenue is very similar to the French Champs Elysees and the streets The flowers thought back to the Netherlands, and the European architecture on both sides of the river was like Venice.
European cities are really similar. Then the ancient prosperity, such a profound heritage, just like the glory of the Tsar period is still in sight.
Come to Russia, you can miss any city, don't miss St. Petersburg

Catherine Palace Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Do you know these little tips for traveling to Russia?
How to play in Russia❓ Although tourism is not the main industry in Russia, it is definitely a seriously underestimated treasure of tourism, and the recent climate is also very pleasant☀ Here you can check in the capital of Russia, Moscow and one of the super beautiful cities, St. Petersburg🏰
👍For the first time, it is recommended to go with a group because English is not commonly used in Russia❌, language communication is a big problem, like booking hotels, transportation problems are more troublesome
In addition, you will be shocked by its various majestic buildings, such as the Catherine Palace, the Kremlin, the Winter Palace Museum, the Summer Garden, and the Red Square. A casual shot is a big scene📷
❗【About the precautions for traveling to Russia to help you avoid 80% of the pits】
①Language problem
English is not a common language in Russia, so remember to download the translation software in advance, and other things like transportation and accommodation are best arranged in advance in China to save a lot of trouble
②About cash
Remember to exchange some rubles at the bank in China before departure, restaurants and attractions do not directly accept foreign currency, Visa cards are currently not available in Russia, you can also bring some cash to exchange locally
③Toilets have to pay
Many toilets in Russia need to be paid, about 50 rubles, so if you are in a museum or encounter a free toilet, it is recommended that you go up if you can
In addition, be careful of those who are dressed in doll costumes or princess costumes and enthusiastically take pictures with you!
④About the bald party
In fact, the public security in Russia is much better than the legend. The so-called "bald party" that specializes in hitting foreigners is almost gone in Russia. As long as Chinese tourists abide by the local order and show a high level of cultivation, Russians will also be very friendly, but in crowded places, they still need to pay attention to anti-theft~

Catherine’s Palace
It’s a one day trip, 30 km from St. Petersburg to the town called Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin). Catherine’s Palace was a summer residence of Russian Emperors. It’s incredibly beautiful!!! It was destroyed during the World War II, but was renovated and continues to impress visitors with its luxury royal style.
Complex has lots of interesting separated exhibitions, but the main sightseeing is, of course, the Palace.
It’s better to come here with touristic groups, because they can organize the entrance tickets quicker than in direct queue. It’s possible to wait for your turn for couple of hours, but this place is worth every second.
There are amazing parks all around the Palace. So, I recommend you to wear comfortable boots . You will have a lot of places to visit here.

The Most Beautiful Church in Saint Petersburg | The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood
| The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.✨The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood⛪ is one of the few traditional Orthodox churches in Saint Petersburg, located on the east side of the Griboedov Canal.✨The church is built on the spot where the radical assassinated Tsar Alexander II. Because Alexander II brought many contributions to Russia during his 26-year reign, this church was built in memory of him. The church has colorful onion domes, which are typical of Russian Orthodox church architecture in the 16th and 17th centuries, and it is very beautiful!💯
✨According to the design requirements at the time, it must fully reflect the Russian style, so the architect Barland used the Basil's Ascension Cathedral on the Red Square in Moscow as a blueprint to build this church. The interior of the church is filled with mosaics depicting stories from the Old Testament.
✨Practical information:
✅Inside the church, whether it's the walls, the dome or the pillars, from top to bottom are covered with mosaic murals, a total of 193 pieces, all based on stories and characters from the Bible, covering about 7500 square meters. These mosaics are made from different colored marbles from Italy and gemstones from Russia.
✅The church has preserved the place where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated, and it is surrounded by a fence covered with iron sheets. On top of it, a special canopy supported by purple-gray jasper columns has been built, and a section of the street where the assassination took place is also enclosed within the church walls.
✅Inside the church, an altar has been designed at the exact spot where Alexander II was assassinated, decorated with yellow jade, glass and other gemstones.📍Address: 2a, Naberezhnaya Kanala Griboedova, Saint Petersburg, Russia
🚇Transportation: Take the blue or green line to Nevsky Prospekt station, and walk for about 10 minutes after getting off
🎫Ticket: 450 rubles, Chinese interpreter can be rented for 200 rubles

✅When you come from Nevsky Prospekt, you can take pictures on the bridge, which is very photogenic‼️
Exploring the Unknown: The Cityscape Adventures of a Wanderer 🌆🌟
Think back to when you left your hometown for the first time, discovering that beyond the bus station lay roads to other cities. Sure, you had heard about them, and you nodded when people mentioned Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, or Saint Petersburg. But when you physically crossed the boundaries of your familiar world, imagination merged with reality. That's how I felt when I first arrived in a new city, a sense of wonder that still makes me restless.
Now, every time I find myself in St. Petersburg, that indescribable excitement returns. @visitpetersburg #visitpetersburg #safetravelspb

Peter and Paul Fortress - a building of the same age as St. Petersburg
If you want to find a building that is the same age as the city of St. Petersburg, then it is the Peter and Paul Fortress. It can be said that St. Petersburg was born and developed under the protection of the fortress. The fortress is a famous ancient building in St. Petersburg, located on the right bank of the Neva River. It was built for defense before, gradually became a prison, and now it is a museum.
When we arrived at the fortress, it was already evening, and the weather was still cloudy, making the sky particularly dark. Admission here is free, but the prison and church charge fees. There are many buildings preserved here, including the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the bell tower, the St. Peter's Gate, Peter the Great's boat house, the mint, the arsenal, the Kronverk tower, and the Decemberists' Monument.
Here, rabbit decorations can be seen everywhere, and this place is also called Rabbit Island. If it weren't for time constraints, we could have played here for a long time.
This huge complex (on an island across from St Petersburg proper and the Neva River ) houses a former, prison, museums and a cathedral. Within the St Perter and Paul Cathedral within this fortress, are the burial tombs of many of the tsars, including Catherine the Great and Peter the Great. Of note is that there is a special room you can visit, that houses the burial remains of Tsar Nicholas II and his family. #wintergetaway
