Photos of Erzabtei / Stift St. Peter Salzburg

St. Peter's Abbey, built on the hillside, is a Romanesque rectangular synagogue with triple side aisles. It was built in 696 to strengthen Christianity. To this day, it is still a monastery for monks to practice. This old monastery is the only Romanesque church in Salzburg. On the ceiling in the center of the building, there are many pictures depicting religion, which is very interesting.
