The city of San Antonio, Texas, is hailed as the ninth most loved tourist city in the world by the famous travel magazine Kony Traveller. There is a brewery with a history of more than 100 years, and it has now been successfully transformed into a modern art district. There are bookstores, coffee shops, galleries and even an EMMA hotel. Emma is named after a woman named "Emma Koehler" who is the owner of the brewery. The brewery was built in 1894 and was designed by Chicago-based architect August Maritzen. The designed Hotel Emma is a modern hotel with an industrial touch but at the comfort of home.
