San Antonio is also a gathering place for early risers of Native Americans. This place has a long history and many ruins are also very precious. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage in one to five years and is worth visiting.
We visited the four missions by bike and had a wonderful time. It is easy to rent bikes there, but we ride our own bikes. The volunteers and staff there are very good. The first thing we visited was the mission hall in San Jose Park, where there is a lot to learn. When we visited the church, volunteers from the Concepcion Mission helped us watch the bicycles. Every section of our route was great and smooth. The sign in the park has a detailed explanation of the area, which is clear at a glance. We saw a lot of ducks, geese and waterfowl. The road is safe and the people are friendly. Later we went to San Juan and Espada missions.
San Antonio was long ruled by the Spanish, so it left many sites of historic buildings that were found throughout the city, and from which exoticism was largely felt.
The national park is composed of several fortress ruins, each fortress is not far apart. SanJose is the most complete preserved, and the others are also good. The Spanish-style architecture in the continental United States is worth a visit.
San Antonio Historic Site Park, the desolate site reveals the vicissitudes of ancient history, as if telling the glory of yesterday. Through this historical site, visitors can better understand the history and culture of the American indigenous people.
San Antonio actually has five main ruins, from Mission Espada in the south to Alamo in the city center, connected by the mission trail. Each ruin is not far apart if it is driven by car, except for the alamo in the city center, there are other parking places. If you want to hike or bike, you can take an uber to mission espada and walk along the river to the city center, which is about 10 kilometers. Maps can be taken from Espada, and every ruin can be stamped as a memorial. When it comes to san jose, there is a small movie that briefly introduces history. In short, it is a very worthwhile attraction!
