Castro is situated on a beautiful neighborhood with beautiful scenery and a long history. The area is one of the birthplaces of the modern LGBT civil rights movement. Although very different from the heyday of the 1970s, it still has a gay community atmosphere. On a sunny day in San Francisco, there are plenty of restaurants and shops to spend a fun time.

It is a very special and colorful neighborhood that introduces the culture of the proud community. If you are an ultra conservative, this place is not for you! Don’t come here with prejudice. I love the neighborhood very much. There are lots of interesting shops (lots of sex shops) and very good restaurants and cafes.
I like to hang out in the Castro area. This is the famous rainbow area. I appreciate the non-mainstream culture. I feel the inclusiveness and openness of the city of San Francisco. It is definitely a very good neighborhood.
Castro has much character and punk. The street has full of life though can get very busy
The most famous homosexual neighbourhood in the United States has gathered homosexual transsexuals since the 1970s, and many homosexual affirmative movements have taken place. This neighbourhood represents the successive efforts of these people to fight for human rights. It may be a resort in the minds of such people. Today, gay marriage has been legalized. It has become a memorial to the past. The streets are covered with rainbow flags. The zebra crossing at the junction of 18th Street and Castro Street is painted with rainbows. There is the first American Kibba twin peaks on the street. It has a historical atmosphere and always plays old movies in the Castro Theatre. There are some interesting men's sympathy stores. There are also many seemingly popular restaurants, the whole block is old houses, exquisite and historical precipitation, sidewalks like Starlight Avenue inlaid with a number of celebrities who have struggled for the rights and interests of homosexuals, long knowledge, is a good tourist spot.
CASTRO is a famous rainbow District in San Francisco. Basically, there are rainbow flags on this street. No wonder the men here in San Francisco feel so beautiful! It feels like this Rainbow area holds up the face of San Francisco.
