The ancient city has beautiful scenery and strong medieval architectural style. It is especially famous for the numerous and closely connected towers. It is said that there were 72 towers in the most glorious period, but now only 14 are left. And there are all kinds of square towers without the same. To be honest, it is a little bit aesthetically fatigued to see too much 😌.
Set in the medieval old town of San Gimiano. It is definitely the oldest bustling shopping and sightseeing street. The street doesn’t take a long walk for half an hour. Every building, every street lamp and even road sign are designed with ingenuity. There are churches, monasteries, private houses, and shops in the ancient city that still follow the traditional business model. There is also a larger church. From the streets below the mountain, you can see the magnificent yellowish buildings from a distance.
Before I came to Italy, I really didn’t know that there was such a place, the old church which was completely preserved from the Middle Ages. Walking inside, there are shops and restaurants on both sides of the Middle Ages, and there is also a world champion ice cream Gelateria Di Piazza. do not miss it. ️🧲
