美国加州中部海岸的莫罗湾是一个也万人口的小城镇，靠着莫罗海湾。在海湾口有一个高 176 米的莫罗石，海湾里有一条很长的沙滩。在莫罗湾最耀眼的是海边热能发电厂的三个烟筒，发电厂建于 1950 年代，2014 年关闭，三个烟筒准备在 2028 年拆除。

Morro Bay is a serene bay. Although the sea is pounding on the shore, the bay is still as serene as an inland lake. That circular hill is called Morro Rock. Morro Bay is named after it. Morro means round hill in Spanish. Morro Rock was formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago and is a 176-meter-high volcanic boulder.
