What people are saying:

We are not sure whether to go in, but we are very happy. There are two museums, one is the Pottery Museum (with examples dating back to 3000 years), and the other is the Museum of Nicaraguan Currency History. Both are very interesting. We were taken away by an English-speaking tour guide who must know what he was talking about. We can't believe how interesting the history of money is. We spent a total of 8 dollars to enter these two museums, which is very good value for money. Our guide was so nice, we gave us a $10 tip for four of us, and then stayed for coffee. If you are passing by and have an hour of free time, it is worth a visit.

    small ... but worth seeing

There's not a whole lot to see, but the museum is worth 30-45 minutes for a quick primer on the country's civil war. There are a couple of informative timelines (with principal information translated...

A worthwhile visit to a small, not-well-known museum

Our small tour group visited this little museum on the second day of our three day stop in El Salvador. I found it very informative for someone (me) who didn't know much of the revolution in Salvador....
