Arch of Galerius

The Galileus Arch is a must-have for visiting Thessaloniki. Its neighboring Rotunda (last) is the remains of several ancient Rome preserved to this day in Thessaloniki. The arch is engraved with many sculptures, as if describing the past glory. The arch is close to the Sophia Church (Figure 4), and can be visited together at the same time.

The arch is nice, beautiful, and has a long history, very good.

This is the arch built by the Roman Emperor Galileus to celebrate his defeat of Persian rivals in Thessaloniki, to record glorious achievements. There are also some reliefs on the arch, which are delicately depicted. It was only a few steps up from the Galileus Palace site. Up there is the mausoleum, Saint George.

Galileus Arch, located in the downtown area of Saloniga, has a strong historical collision between the ancient arch sites and the surrounding modern buildings. The arch was built to commemorate the victory of the war in history. It is similar to the Arc de Triomphe. The scenic spots are not very playable. Just take pictures to remember it.

The famous Gacurius Arch is a local landmark that witnesses many, many historical tourists from this country who have to go here.
