    NOT MUCH TO SEE

    This street is being dug up and the road itself is lined with green covered plastic fencing. There are a few interesting buildings along the way but it is difficult to see them because of the fencing...

    Under construction

    The main section of the road is under construction to replace the pavers with coral rock to resemble the original road from the time of Columbus. Construction is ongoing.

    Street is not authentic

    It was not nice place full of vendors selling items not produced locally. Stench from water was unbearable.

    Enjoyable Walk with a lot of history

    It is a must see. A real feel for the history of the city. We enjoyed the walk along the street as well as dropping in on the Panteon De La Patria. At the top of the street there is a nice view.
