Tagong Temple is located in Tagong Township, Kangding County, Ganzi Prefecture. Its full name is "One Seeing Ruyi Jiejie Temple". There is a statue of Sakyamuni who is the same as the Jokhang Temple in the temple. Legend has it that Princess Wencheng passed through this place on her way to Tibet, and imitated the statue of Sakyamuni to build a statue in the temple. The icon, this Guanyin icon was shaped by Princess Wencheng for the benefit of all living beings. The raw materials used to shape the icon were the sacred mountains and waters in the Han-Tibet region at that time and a lot of jewelry. The Avalokitesvara Hall enshrines the gilt bronze statue of Avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes. It was built in 1997. In fact, time is tight and I want to drive on the plateau. There is a line to recommend to everyone: Kangding City to the direction of Mugecuo Scenic Area, there is a fork road (there is a road sign), go to the right side to the airport, pass Zhonggu Hot Spring, Yala Snow Mountain Lukou (4400 meters above sea level), Red Sea. After the Yala Snow Mountain, there is a fork road down, the left is the airport, and the right is to the Tagong Temple. Take the right to the Tagong Temple near the fork road, turn left to Tagong Temple, continue to line 318, and walk to Xindu Bridge to the left to the mountains and return to Kangding.
It would be better if there was an official explanation like Labrang Temple
