I saw wild elephants in the old forest in the mountains. Although it takes tens of minutes to climb the mountain, it is worth it. Here you need to find a local resident to make an appointment to lead the way to see the elephants, and you can't find this place directly online.

In the fate of the collision between the Sammonolong and the wild elephants, to be honest, this wild elephant valley is really a very incredible place. We did some research before we came to understand that because of the development of human economy and human greed, humans not only eroded their habitats but also brutally slaughtered elephants for their ivory. Many of these elephants no longer have ivory. The experience of the elephants is really a mixed feeling. So to support the country's elephant conservation cause and to purify the soul and atone for humanity, we embarked on a journey to Senmonolong, Cambodia. In Wild Elephant Valley, these behemoths can walk freely on the road, leisurely eating leaves, licorice, and occasionally taking a mud bath in their own territory, and I see joy in their eyes! The elephants here are well cared for, and my heart is warm. Although the elephants look dull and large, they have very high IQs, equivalent to children aged4-5 . I dare to guarantee that this is a beautiful highland, protected by the gods. But now more than ever, these beautiful creatures need everyone's support, because the government is so cruel to a nonprofit. So every visitor here is equivalent to donating to an elephant conservation organization and keeping it safe. I am in awe of the staff and the contribution of the organization here, not just the elephants, but the whole community and the jungle. Support this refuge! We stayed overnight and volunteered, it was so worth it. This place was highly recommended by all ethical tourism regulators and after our full day of visits yesterday I fully understood the reason. The idea of contacting elephants and even bathing them seems strange, but they are beautiful and gentle creatures who have families, tribes, feelings, and sadness and joy like humans. I hope that more loving people will join this team in the future. Special thanks to our guide Mei Sai, he is a very good person. English is great, humor is strong, one of the best guides in our trip. Hope to have the opportunity to go again next time! Tip: Pay attention to the otters in the rainforests of Cambodia. (Be careful to be sucked up haha)
