What an amazing peak and it is worth the walk of 30 min straight hill. Although Jeju is an island there are such an exciting peach and the beach 🏖
Feeling awesome at Seongsan Illchubong
However the day I went there was not a sunny day I am satisfied with what I get in-front of my eyes 👀. I feel relaxed and I completely forget all my hectic schedule for a while as I completely get drenched inside it.
Actually Breathe Taking
The famous Seongsan Ilchulbong or must known as The Sunrise Peak. Unfortunately I was kot able to watch the sunrise here because it was too far from my hotel but even theres no sunrise, I must say that it was worth to visit anytime! And dint forget to try their peanut and marshmallow ice cream! It was the best.
The sunrise peak of Seongsan in Jeju Island is very nice. Climbing slowly along the stone stairs to the top of the mountain, you can see the beautiful scenery, which is worth taking a long time to visit. 💘
Lots of snacks, souvenirs, cafes and more at the foot of the mountain. Here you can drive to Udo Island's pier within 10 minutes.
Seongsan IIchulbong is 182 meters above sea level. Atop the mountain is a volcanic crater measuring 600 meters in diameter and is 90 meters deep. Surrounded by the sea, Seongsan Ilchulbong is a popular weekend destination for many locals. They like to climb to the top of the hill to take in the stunning rural scenery and the beauty of the nearby coastline. There are great grassy lawns spread across the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong which are suitable for either strolling or horseback riding. Every year on the day before and after New Year celebration, the Seongsan Sunrise Festival is held on Seongsan IIchulbong. This is a grand celebration of unique folk culture.
