Queuing to eat at popular restaurants, near Gyeongbokgung Palace, wandering around in Hanbok, the soup is rich, no seasoning is light, and glutinous rice is easy to get greasy. Everyone has different praise and criticism, depending on their personal taste, kimchi is delicious. Try it fresh.
I thought there was no need to line up at noon, but there were still so many people waiting. It's not all Chinese, so we didn't stir it up. The line was fast, and I went in after a while, like a courtyard. Take off your shoes when entering the house and sit on the floor. Satisfied and returned.
is goos woo like .
I am a local here and I have tasted half of the best ginseng chicken soup in town. All my friends from overseas loved this place and to me, it sounded too touristy and refrained myself from trying it out, until last Nov when my friend from HK dragged me into the place. And I was so glad that she did! It was the best ginseng chicken soup I had in my 30 something years of life in Seoul. The broth was thick as I liked it to be and the chicken so fresh and soft. Coming with the soup, kaktuggi kimchi was amazing, just right spice and fresh for the thick broth! Lesson I have learned form this visit! Never be biased not to try places out even they are known as a tourist place. (There must be reason why there is a huge line everyday) coming back definitely again and recommending to my local buddies!
I saw the long queues line for this restaurant, i had to wait for 30mnts, but it worth to wait. It taste good. I was in summer seasson. Travelling on summer made me easily tired, this food gives me more energy as it has gingseng on it. U should not miss when u are in korea. A whole Chicken broth with gingseng and sticky rice, served with wine gingseng (this really strong) . I cant finished the whole by my self, it a huge portion for me. But all the korean finished them well. :D
