Chuansha Ancient City Wall Park

I saw the ancient city wall in the south city of Shanghai, but I didn't expect to see an ancient city wall park in the ancient town of Chuansha in Pudong, Shanghai. There is a section of the ancient city wall fenced in the park, which is estimated to be a monument, and a section of the city wall by the river is estimated to be newly built.

The ancient city wall was built in 1557 when the Chuansha people built it to resist Japanese invasion. The ancient city wall was 2 kilometers long and had 4 gates when it was built, but there is only one remaining city wall nearly 80 meters long and 1 gate. Many traces of fighting against Japanese pirates can still be seen here. There is no Great Wall in Shanghai. The ancient walls of Chuansha can make you feel like the Great Wall.

The ancient city wall of Chuansha is a well-preserved historical and cultural site in Pudong New Area of Shanghai, which witness the history of Chuansha ancient city and is a relatively complete historical building. It also leaves a lot of ruins related to Pengfei.

After traveling by car to Chuansha Old Street and parking the car in the parking lot, the ancient city wall park is diagonally opposite as soon as you exit the parking lot. It is very small to enter for free. There is a reserved section of the Ming Dynasty ancient city wall with Yue Fei Tuo Stele Pavilion Kuixing Pavilion, below is the old moat, next to it is the primary school built by Mr. Huang Yanpei.
