Shanghai is one of the first regions in China to come into contact with the West, where Chinese and Western cultures blend and collide, emitting a dazzling light.
Unexpectedly, there is still such a building in Shanghai. I never noticed it when I passed by. It has been renovated and it feels very historical. I hope that more and more ancient buildings can be restored instead of glass curtain walls and cement boxes everywhere.
In Shanghai’s Bund, on the right side of Xin Tian’an Hall on South Suzhou River Road, there is a five-story European-style building with brick-concrete structure. It was originally a church apartment built with Tian’an Hall. Now it has been transformed into a seminary hall dedicated to high-end ladies. SPA, the value of cultural relics is lost.
The red brick building is very historical. The Republic of China is blowing haha
It used to be the place of the church, now it’s an apartment
