Huangpu Theatre

In the prime area adjacent to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, there is a famous Huangpu Theatre in Shanghai, formerly known as Jincheng Theatre. In 1935, the "March of the Volunteer Army" was first sang and disseminated here. At the end of 1957, Premier Zhou Enlai proposed that the theater be renamed "Huangpu Theatre" and inscribed inscriptions, which have been used to this day.

Huangpu Theater is located at the intersection of Guizhou East Road, Beijing East Road, Shanghai City Center. The exhibition hall uses a large number of historical materials, photos, physical objects, floating sculptures and multimedia to show the classic cultural theme of excellent historical buildings, and truly reflects the historical evolution of the birth and development of the national anthem. The theme song of "Children of the Wind and the Cloud" is sung here and quickly spread, making Huangpu Theatre a veritable national singing place. The pavilion consists of four exhibition halls, the origin of the national anthem, the national singing, the national anthem and the Huangpu Theatre.
