Shanghai Jiangxi Middle Road South Yan'an East Road, north to South Suzhou Road. 1855 built. With the entry of foreign banks in the Bund, several fiber roads connecting the pier on the riverside were paved with gravel and changed to roads that could be connected to carriages. Jiangxi Road is one of the earliest roads built after Shanghai opened. In 1865, the Ministry of Industry renamed the roads in Shanghai. Named Jiangxi Road in Jiangxi Province. In 1946, it was changed to the current road name. At the beginning of the 20th century, more than 30 banks were opened on both sides of the road, so it is known as the "Bank Street". Now this street retains many excellent historical buildings. Located at the corner of Nanjing East Road, Middle Jiangxi Road, the Meilun Building was originally a display room for the sale of gas appliances in the British business fire house. The Pearl River Building, No. 320 ～ 322, Jiangxi Middle Road, formerly known as Tianxiang Foreign Bank Building. Tianxiang Foreign Bank was founded by British businessmen Adamson and Bell in partnership, mainly doing import and export trade and insurance business. Jiangxi Middle Road Ningbo Road intersection (No. 52 Ningbo Road) was originally a Guangdong Bank Building, built in 1934, is now the seat of the National Pharmaceutical Group Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. Xinfeng Building, No. 367 Jiangxi Middle Road, built in 1922, Xinhua Bank, Xinfeng Insurance Company has been located here. The Shanghai Building, 368 Jiangxi Middle Road, was built in 1929, formerly the Shanghai Commercial Savings Bank Building, and is now the headquarters of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. The Zhongken Building at the Beijing East Road intersection of Jiangxi Middle Road (239 Beijing East Road) was built in 1932. In 1926, Mr. Suttin and Mr. Tong founded China Kenye Bank, which is the headquarters of the building. It is now used by the Shanghai Electric Power Industry Association and other units. The intersection of Beijing East Road (230 Beijing East Road) on Jiangxi Middle Road is the former Zhejiang Industrial Bank Building. Zhejiang Industrial Bank was founded in 1907 and is one of the earliest commercial banks in China. The Siming Building at the Beijing East Road intersection of Jiangxi Middle Road (240 Beijing East Road) was invested and built by the original Siming Bank, which is one of the main commercial banks in old China. Founded in 1908. The head office is located in Shanghai. In September 1921, the head office moved to this place, and Zhejiang Industrial Bank just faced the east and west corners of Jiangxi Road, becoming a sensational event. The building at No. 421 Jiangxi Middle Road was originally the headquarters building of the Rong family's three new company, completed in 1921. Shenxin Textile Corporation was founded in 1921, and the founders are Rong Zong Jing, Rong Desheng brothers, Wuxi people, Jiangsu. Hengfeng Building, No. 450 ～ 454, Jiangxi Middle Road, was once the resident of Zhejiang Commercial Savings Bank (founded in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in June 1921) and Sichuan Construction Bank (opened in April 1935, head office is located in Chongqing). Jiangxi Building, 451 Jiangxi Middle Road, was built in 1921 and was originally the Yangtze River Industrial Bank Building. The self-supporting building, 464 Jiangxi Middle Road, was originally an office building of Yingshang Water Company.
