A hanging forest in Shanghai?
Next to Shanghai`s art district, M50, you will find a huge complex covered with trees, called “1000 Trees” designed by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick`s studio. 🌇🌿
This beautiful mall complex, which harmonizes all its neighboring landscape, is filled with columns abound with trees and plants🌳🌿, making it look as if green shoots have sprouted up through the building to bloom on the skyline. 🏢
Each floor of the building has a terraces with panoramic views 🤪 and columns bringing nature close to each level.
From a distance the 1000 Trees emerge like a pair of first-capped mountains. ⛰️🌿😍
It is a nice place to visit when you are in the area. You can have a beautiful walk there since it is located on the bend in Suzhou Creek, bounded by the river 🌅 to the north, the M50 art district 🧑🎨 to the south and a residential area to the east. This site contains lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, public spaces and a walkway along the river with cherry trees 🌸🍒 and art pieces.
Not only it is a great place to have a promenade and hang around, but to take amazing pictures!! 👌🤪

What a find! Super cute and high quality little industrial art area with galleries, shops and cafes/bars. Like a mini version of Beijing 798 art district.
M50 Creative Park is located on Moganshan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai. As a brand with "art, creativity and life" as the core value of the brand, it was originally a Shanghai Chunming Coarse Textile Factory and began to be transformed into an art and creative park in 2000.
M50 is a shorthand for No. 50 Moganshan Road, located in the Henan Bank Peninsula area of Suzhou, Putuo District, Shanghai. Originally as Shanghai Chunming Coarse Textile Factory, it has been transformed into an art and creative park since 2000. Based on M50 Creative Park, M50 is built as a brand with "art, creativity and life" as the core value.
Worth going, a lot of people, go to the exhibition with friends
Ok, the location is OK, not far away, you can do it without an appointment.
M50 Creative Park is located in Moganshan Road, the subway to Shanghai Railway Station or Zhongtan Road Station, down all need to walk. M50 Creative Park, originally known as Shanghai Chunming Woolen Mill, has been transformed into an Art Creative Park since 2000. All the way from Mogan Mountain Road, there are all kinds of creative graffiti strokes, which are very eye-catching and highly praised. Choosing the right weather and taking pictures along the way is just as beautiful. There are coffee shops, galleries, bookstores and houses with various loft sensations in the creative garden, which are very literary and artistic. Many young artists are here to start their own businesses, which is a very worthwhile place to come.
