Mantang Hakka Dawei is located in Aizi Town, Shixing County, about 60 kilometers away from the county seat. Built in the fifth year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, the building complex is divided into three parts: left, middle and right. All of them are constructed of water-milled blue bricks and bluestone arches. 777 houses, the upper four floors, with 17 gun holes. It is said that from the fifth year of Daoguang to the ninth year of Xianfeng, it took 35 years to complete the construction. Hakka people are people who migrated many times in history and developed the southern barbarian area from the north, so they are called "Hakka" people in Guangdong. The enclosure is a typical residence of the Hakka people. There are not many existing ones. It is a relatively complete one and is worth visiting.
