Photos of Huaniao island

The Huaniao island is located on the north side of Shengsi island. It is shaped like a seagull spreading its wings. The island is full of flowers and plants, hence the name Huaniao (flower & bird) Island. The famous scenic spot on the island is the flower and bird lighthouse, which is the largest lighthouse in the Far East. The tiger cave, cloud cave, and ape cave on Huaniao island are also worth seeing. It is said that the cloud cave reaches the bottom of the sea. Yandong Rock is recommended for its closeness to the sea, strong winds, and high tides. Mussels and groupers can be found in the rock cracks on the island. It is an ideal place for hiking, camping, and fishing.
