Dapeng Old Town Fortress Is a walled village that is 600 years old. It is located about 55 miles from Shenzhen and is an easy day trip from the city. There are several small food stalls and gift shops in the area so you can get lunch and buy trinkets to take home. #merrychristmas

Located not far from Shenzhen, China is Dapeng Fortress. It is interesting to see how the buildings used to be constructed. So small and close together. It is becoming more tourist oriented so it is best to go now while you can still capture some of the authenticity. #merrychristmas

Shenzhen Dapeng City was once a military fortress and a historical city; it is a quaint residential house and one of the hearts. This is the city of Dapeng, the first of the "Shenzhen Eight Views", the "Wulingyuan" in the downtown area, and the tranquility among the hustle and bustle. Historically, many outstanding military talents have emerged in the city of Dapeng, and the most famous ones belong to General Zhenwei and General Liu Qilong. Stepping into the generals, although it is not the same as before, people go to the sky, but when they think about it, the generals are bloody on the battlefield, and the spirit of defending the country is still echoing in the mind for a long time. For the city of historical fortress, Dapeng City naturally lacks a rich historical and cultural heritage. In the ancient city, the remains of the smoke pier, the castle tower and the Tianhou Palace are still visible. Although the ruins of the historical annual rings have long since disappeared, they are no longer the glory of the past, but it is not the best witness of historical changes. In addition to these, the generals in the ancient city are also worth a visit.

Dapeng City, built in the 27th year of Ming Hongwu (AD 1394), is a coastal defense military fortress in southern China in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are nearly 100,000 square meters of Ming and Qing architectural complexes, and the ancient buildings are row upon row and antique. The ancient city has opened a lot of special inns and small shops, and suddenly feels that the ancient city has a literary fan.

Introduction
Dapeng Ancient City was built during the rule of Emperor Ming Hongwu, and served as a defensive military fortress for South China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Shenzhen's nickname, "Pengcheng," comes from this city. Many well-known military generals were produced here during the Ming Dynasty, including Liu Zhong, and five generals from three generations of the Lai family, giving the village its nickname, "General Village". Dapeng City has perfectly preserved city gates, castle towers, ancient streets and ancient homes, as well as the opportunity to see a selection of cultural and military-related relics related to the defense of the coast. It is a great place to learn about and bask in military history.

This was just remarkable! We wondered around the ancient city, enjoying the temples and throwing our coins in the wishing wells. We said our prayers and enjoyed some of the most amazing foods we’ve had to date in China! we even went back for more two days later! There are plenty of food, clothing, accessory and drink stores, so you can enjoy exploring all of the little ally ways in complete comfort and relaxation. We even stumbled across the most amazing Boston style coffee shop! I highly recommend this attraction!

The city of Dazhao, built in the twenty-seven years of Hongwu (1394) in the Ming Dynasty, covers an area of about 110,000 square meters. It is a naval fortress in southern China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a history of 600 years to resist foreign aggression. It has produced a group of outstanding national heroes such as Lais Jue, Liu Qilong and Liu Heizai. Shenzhen is now known as "the city of Tongzi" is from here. The city of Tongzi is the key cultural relics protection unit and patriotism education base in Guangdong Province. In 1996, a "the museum of Tongzi ancient city" was established with the purpose of cultural relics protection, historical research and tourism development.
