Dongjiang Column Memorial

This is a branch of the Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall in Pingshan, Shenzhen. There are many historical venues of the Dongjiang Column in Guangdong. We can feel the great contribution made by the people of Guangdong in the War of Resistance Against Japan. Memorize the martyrs and remember the history.

Not very big, the traffic is very small, very new, many historical stories, it is worth learning, especially for teenagers and children. You can finish it in an hour or two. The explanations are very detailed.

The memorial hall consists of halls, exhibition halls, cultural relics halls and martyrs'famous monuments. The exhibition hall is divided into 13 parts according to the development process of the Dongjiang column: 1. Anti-Japanese salvation and armed preparation; 2. Forming a team to fight against the enemy and move eastward; 3. Returning to the enemy and resuming development; 4. advancing into Hong Kong and 9. Rescuing the elite; 5. Hard struggle and reversing the situation; 6. Establishing an Eastern column to fight against the enemy; 7. advancing northward and eastward and developing in an all-round way; 8. advancing north of Guangdong and winning the war; 9. Persisting in self-defence and persevering in the overall development. Negotiations to withdraw to the north; 10. Establishment of the Eastern China; 11. Establishment of the Eastern China; 11. Establishment of the Frontier China, Megatron South Guangdong; 12. Extensive South China, fighting side by side; 13. Eastern China soldiers, veterans and new postures.

There are many places in the Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall, in Huizhou Boluo, Dongguan Daling Mountain and other places. Shenzhen is located on Pingshan East Zong Road, and there is also a former residence of Zeng Sheng in the park.

The first entrance is the preface hall. On the wall facing the entrance is a huge V-shaped relief, which symbolizes the victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance Against Japan. The above fists and weapons show the strong fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese army and people in Dongjiang to resist foreign aggression. The undulating relief on both sides symbolizes the meandering water of the Dongjiang River. On the left, the people of Dongjiang rose up against the Japanese aggressors, and on the right, the heroic killing of the enemy by the Dongjiang column. The relief is made of red sandstone with Dongguan regional characteristics. The gray cement wall above the relief is inscribed with the song of Dongjiang Column. There is also an electronic sand table in the preface hall, which can intuitively understand the range of activities of the Dongjiang column.
