Amok took 40 mins to cook, and it has a pudding texture different from other amoks I ate before. Amok is lack of aroma, not enough salt. Not impressive. The crispy noddles does much better than amok.
I did NOT like the food or the prices! The atmosphere was nice but nothing to look at for an outdoor eating area. Photo: crispy noodles with special sauce that taste how the alleys smell
Here you'll find only bland and westernized shadow of Khmer food. We were drawn here by Mr Ramsey and rave reviews. Amok turned out to be only mediocre, service lousy.
Minced Pork with Morning Glory is one of my fav. Don't be fooled by its outlook that look simple, the taste is great and portion is generous.
Khmer Curry is highly recommended. I chose the fish version, the portion is generous!
Try their Pomelo salad!
Fish amok. So. Good.
fish amok was good (tastes a lot like a thai green curry). steamed fish was also delicious. service is extremely slow. full of tourists.
Great menu with plenty for veggies and meat eaters alike. Try the pork and silver noodle salad and the tofu satay
Delicious Khmer food in a traditional wooden house
