The Rollos Site Group, considered as the beginning of Khmer Art, was built during the Angkor Dynasty in the 9th century A.D. and is divided into three sites, namely, Bakong Temple, Lolai Temple and Shenniu Temple. Bakong Temple is the largest and most important temple in the ruins of Rollos. It used to be a large temple in the city center. Its architectural style inherited the influence of Borobudur in Indonesia and was mainly used to worship Linga.
Bakong Temple is the largest monument in the group of ancient temples in Rollos. It is the first pyramidal monastery dedicated to Hindu gods by Indra Bama I. With the central hall as the center, East-West toward the tower gates were constructed respectively. The surrounding walls connect the tower gates. There are three walls. The third wall has eight halls and five-storey pyramids. Each pyramid represents different meanings, from the bottom to the top: the world of Naga, the world of Galuda, the world of the fork, the world of Rasha and the world of God. There is also a modern temple at the entrance of the East Tower Gate. I took off my shoes and went inside for a visit, but I forgot to take off my hat. In the temple, a little monk under ten years old scratched his head anxiously, indicating that I took off my hat. I am extremely sorry. I know there are many taboos in Angkor Wat monasteries, but they are careless. Here, I remind tourists to pay attention to: no shorts and skirts in monasteries; avoid discussing political and war topics; go into the temple and take off shoes and hats; women can not touch monks, talk with monks, and deliver things to monks.
The Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, the largest and most important temple in the ruins of Rollos, was established by King Indra Bama I of Angkor in 881. Once a large temple in the city center, its architectural style inherits the influence of Indonesian Borobudur characteristics. This is one of my favorite temples in Angkor, not because of his sculpture, but because of the atmosphere.
This is the last stop of the chartered car in the outer circle. When we go, the sunset falls to the west. It is very beautiful in architecture. Maybe it was late and nobody checked the tickets. What impressed me most here was that the flowers at the door were very flourishing and beautiful, and they bloomed very well. The Bakong Monastery was also a ruin. In 1936, French historic maintenance experts began to rebuild it. After about seven years of basic maintenance, it was completed. It is a five-storey pyramid altar, with a pagoda standing in the top center. It is a scenic spot worth visiting in my heart.
Bakong Bagong Temple is also a beautiful place for me. It was built in 881 at the end of the 9th century, 1133 years ago, much earlier than Little Angkor. Many children here, some of them will make flowers into rings on your fingers and ask you to take money. Su got the trick, but I think it's quite beautiful. It doesn't matter. The little boy and girl who stretched out outside the door were so cute that they wanted to give them candies. Unfortunately, they had been dispatched before and felt sorry for them. It was suggested that they should take more candies when they went to the outer circle, because there were more poor children far away from the city. Although they couldn't help much, they all liked candies and gave them a little joy.
Cambodia, Siem Reap, a three-day tour of the outer circle of the road scenery, belongs to the ancient Angkor Dynasty buildings, the Bakong Temple square, symmetrical Cambodian architecture, from a distance, there are main towers and attached towers on both sides, need to walk through the porch to a high step, to the top platform can see the whole outline of the building below. Tickets are included in the three-day pass, which is a worthwhile place to go.
Bagong Temple (Bakong Temple, Bagu Temple) is the largest temple in the Rollos group. The truncated pyramid-shaped building, the temple built on a five-storey platform, was the most important building in the central part of the city of Korikoloya at that time. The symbolic Shibranga, which was used to worship the king by the Bagong Monastery of Indra Bama I, was called "Indra Seoul". See flowers like brocade, mangrove green forest, hear the Buddhist music in the temple beside the ancient temple, there is an atmosphere.
Bakong Temple is a scenic spot of the Rolls Site Group. Outside, there are pools on both sides. The reflection of trees in the water is very beautiful in the clear sky. On the jujube trees along the coast, there are local children shaking the branches desperately to beat the jujube. They look very dangerous. The architecture of Bakong Temple is still quite beautiful, especially the innermost tower, which is absolutely a good place to take photos.
Bakong Temple, also known as Bakong Temple (Bagong Temple), is the largest and most important temple in the Rollos group. It used to be a large temple in the city center. Located 15 kilometers southwest of Siem Reap City, Bakong Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. According to the monument found in 1935, the temple is the national Temple established by King Indra Bama I of Angkor in 881. After 4,500 years of abandonment, the Bakong Monastery has collapsed into a school of ruins. Maurice Grace, an expert in Monument maintenance at Far East College in France, has led his team to clean up and restore the site since 1936. After seven years of hard work, it was not until 1943 that it was largely restored as it is now.
Bakong Temple, Shenniu Temple and Luolai Temple are the collective names of the ruins of Luoluo Temple. They were the capital of the kingdom before the capital moved to Angkor. Bakong Temple is surrounded by a moat with access roads. On the ground on both sides of the access roads, the statue of Naga serves as a guardrail. On the platform like a pyramid on the fifth floor, there are stone lions. On the top platform, there are central palaces representing Xumishan. On the four directions, there are pagoda doors, which overlook the beauty of the central palace.
