After leaving Little Angkor, we continued to walk a little bit north and came down to the mountain. There is not much scenery in the process of climbing, the top platform is relatively open, there are many tourists, the sunset is very beautiful, and the little Angkor can be seen in the jungle.
Buchan Mountain makes you forget the past and start again. According to the strategy, I climbed into the temple at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and came to the legendary Bakken Mountain. Putting everything down, sitting quietly on the stone, waiting for the sunset, what else can't let go?
Standing on the top of Buchan Mountain, you have a wide view. The setting sun is red in the far horizon. Under the red slanting sun, among the forests and tropical plants, layers of twilight were reddened by the setting sun. Looking at it, it is a vast beauty. The sunset reflected the crowd, and a faint red glow was glowing on all the faces. The light feels solemn and divine.
It is one of the more memorable scenic spots in Cambodia. After the bus is sent down the mountain, you need to walk up the mountain by yourself. The tour guide is not accompanied. It is probably a very tiring day of hiking. It is said that there are also services that cost money to ride elephants to the mountains, but I now think that elephant riding, aquarium performances, etc. are cruel to animals, so this kind of service is not considered. The whole mountain is not very high, but Southeast Asia at the end of May is considered to be the rainy season. When climbing the mountain, we encountered strong winds and short-term heavy rainfall. Fortunately, bad weather came and went quickly. Because the time with the group is not free, I can’t stay on the mountain to watch the sunset of the most famous Mount Bakken. I just climbed up to see the scenery and went down. I remember the elephant sculptures in the temple on the mountain. (Picture 3)
