When I first saw Baqiong Temple, I thought it was in ruins, because this temple is really worn out. Although it is located near the Doukou Temple, it is clear that there are very few tourists here. It happened that I was tired from walking, so I just wandered around in this desolate place alone. There is not much artistic value for reference, but there is great historical value for future generations to study. I think there are many Professional historians and archaeologists will be interested here.

Ride a bicycle to the Doukou Temple, and then follow the route on the map to the Baqiong Temple not far away. It is very secluded here, and most tourists will not come here, so there are no tourists and there are farmland around. The Baqiong Temple is relatively small, with three east-facing minarets juxtaposed on the same platform. It is also a Shiva-style building.
The monuments of the 10th century are really unbelievable. Very vicissitudes of life.
Baqiong Temple is located next to the Cardamom Temple and is a monument of the 10th century. Here you can see three east-facing towers juxtaposed on the same altar, which are three brick main churches. The ruins themselves are not large, but there are still doors on the east side.
Baqiong Temple is next to the Doukou Temple. It is a small-scale red brick building. This Buddhist temple was built by the same architect who designed East Mebon Temple. Even in the Khmer era, when there were more inscriptions, it was the only architect to survive. Three towers facing east are juxtaposed on the same altar, which are three main brick churches. Although the ruins themselves are small, there are gates, moats and water storage tanks on the east side. Sandstone is used as reinforcement at the opening, and stone inscriptions remain in each of the 3 towers. There is a stone lion carved from sandstone in the center. Baqiong Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, which also represents Mount Xumi. It has five floors. There are eight pagodas under the central tower, and there are early plaster reliefs inside. It is also a good experience to listen to the Buddhist sound and enjoy a moment of tranquility in the afterglow of the setting sun.
