Wat Preah Ang

4/5

Address: Before The Royal Residence, Siem Reap, Cambodia

What people are saying:

Walking along the river, you can see this temple, magnificent. It is very suitable for walking quietly. The murals are exquisite, and each piece of milk has the name and amount of the donor. The gardening in the temple is also beautiful. This Buddhist temple is on the edge of the river. We went there by bicycle. The car stopped at the door. When we entered the door, we saw the big dragon boat. When we walked to the temple, there is a place to worship Buddha. The surrounding walls are covered with colorful murals. It is the story of the gods and Buddhas, worthy of careful reading, some foreigners will hire to explain the stories.

Easy to find, plenty to see

This is a great temple with great gardens and many displays of statues in the grounds.... and then the large buddah inside. I recommend having a look on the way to Pub street, which is close.

    Lovely

Really nice to drop into. In the city centre, maybe takes about half an hour to look round. There is some construction work around currently, but it doesn’t hinder anything. Beautiful and glad we went...
