Children Little Museum is located in an old-school shophouse along Kampong Glam. With an entry fee of $2, you will be able to enter the nostalgic world of yesteryears. The toys and stationeries bring back memories of of my childhood days where I could even identify some of the items I owned in my younger days. It feature the once popular games such as 5-stones, rectangle country erasers, dolls, chapteh and many more were the kind I played during my growing up years. In that tiny museum located at the 2nd level, it even has a vintage vespa, little tables and chairs which we used in kindergardens, old-school chair you can find in a traditional barber shop and a push-cart drink stall. It is definitely worth a visit to see what kids in Singapore play with in the era without Computers, Internet, smartphones and tablets.
A museum that I'd love to suggest to everyone who visit Singapore with children or love remembering her/his childhood memories. Even though the museum own the collection of Singaporean’s, as an Indonesian, I could also remember a few plays or games from Children Little Museum, with a different name. I enjoyed this little museum with wide range toy collection.
