Fort Canning Park, an iconic hilltop landmark has witnessed many of Singapore’s historical milestones. The hill once sited the palaces of 14th century Kings and served as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. #wintergetaway
There is also a Fort Canning Garden around the hotel, and there is also a National Museum of Singapore. There are so many things to play, so I really recommend it to the Fort Canning Hotel.
Walking under the tree shade is also relatively comfortable, very cool.
hot weather, finally ushered in heavy rain. It is a wise and unwise choice to choose to visit Little India in the rain. Because Little India is a gathering place for Indians, it is also a slum in Singapore, so the overall style of Singapore and Singapore is still very different.
Speaking of Little India, it is very similar to Chinatown's gathering area. It is not an attraction in itself, it is also an area. Therefore, the scope is very large, you can take a fine tour, put on the temples inside, you can also walk around and explore the streets.
I am a kind of place that I dont have a cold. Im very curious about the unknown, but when I get to a place thats not very appetizing, I wont leave immediately. I can afford to take a taxi. The fee is not.
can't blame me for not like it, but this rainy day makes it a lot less beautiful. The sky is also vain, and the colorful buildings are still very exotic.
Hilly and well landscaped park with a lot of historic value stretching out behind Wesley Methodist church. You'll get a lot of walking done, and a fair bit of climbing, to cover the whole thing. For first-timers, some of the fort history and preserved monuments with signage may make for interesting reading as well.
Learn about Singapore's history while experiencing the lush beauty of nature when you take a trip to Fort Canning Park. The location, which sits on a low hill, was at one time home to Malay rulers dating to the turn of the 14th century. Now, you can enjoy the abundant flora and marvel at Singaporean architecture. Guided nature walks happen on many Saturdays. For a fresh historical perspective on World War II, see the Battle Box to relive the events leading up to the British surrender of Singapore to the Japanese in 1942. You can also watch performances at the park, ranging from famous music to ballet.
