Chinatown was the first place where Chinese arrived in Singapore in the early years, and now it has become a major scenic spot in Singapore. It’s very lively and has a strong Chinese flavor. I like the arcade architecture here.
Kreta Ayer Square is Chinatown Square. There are a lot of people, most of them Chinese. Traveling in a foreign country will inevitably feel homesick. I want to find a very familiar environment~

Shame it isn’t as clean as the temple. The trash smells awful and there is all kinds of dirt around. The graffiti is interesting.
Other than being pretty much in the center of Chinatown, there isn’t anything special to see and do here.
The square itself is pretty poor. Not much to see. Of more interest is the nearby temple building or the Chinatown Complex if you’re looking for food.
