Located in the center of the city, it has become a leader in the museum with its strong neoclassical architectural style. There are 6 permanent exhibition halls, mainly showing the evolution of life and customs in Singapore since the 14th century, especially the life of early Chinese immigrants.
nice museum and great building. the architecture of the building is what fascinated me the most. the museum is also well managed and clean.
went there during singapore night festival, place was incredibly beautiful. really enjoyed the packaging matters exhibition!!
A very visually interesting museum with exhibits on the history of Singapore, the people, the Japanese Occupation and much more. Highly recommended.Free 1 hr guided tours at 11am & 2pm from Mon - Fri. And on Sat & Sun: 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.Entry is S$10 for tourists. $5 for disabled, students and above 60 yrs. Open 10am - 7pm daily.The nearest train stations are Dhoby Ghaut or Bras Basah
