What people are saying:

Cost: ¥59 This is a small and beautiful museum that houses many music boxes since the 18th century. A Chinese tour guide will introduce and demonstrate the whole process, from the principle of the music box to its invention and development process. The most important point is that the tour guide will listen to most of the boxes. Compared with other museums that are only used for display, this is simply a conscience! And the collection is indeed very rich, from the earliest drum music box to the later disc type, as well as the British coin-operated music box. The most precious collection inside, the most Singaporean feature is a Singapore-made music box, named "De China", which means "from China". It was donated by a British collector. It is said that the collector could not distinguish China well at the time. People and Southeast Asian Chinese mistakenly called it "from China". This music box has been published in many local newspapers! There is also an "Atlantic" music box, which was equipped on the Titanic back then. Later, the ship decided to change to a live band to play, so this box was kept. Imagine you are holding an old 3p coin to let these 100-year-old antiques sing a song for you. It is really romantic. This museum is currently too niche, so that the tour guides and sisters are very upset, so I volunteered to help promote it~ They deserve more people to know. However, I am also a little worried that if there are more people, it will change its small and beautiful features... The fare is 12 Singapore dollars for adult tickets and 6 Singapore dollars for student tickets, which is definitely worth the money!

Didn’t expect it to be so great!

You get an individual tour and learn the history of music boxes. They play many old, old ones! They even have one that is 270 years old. Delightful guide.
