Stamps! They are almost a lost art as technology by way of emailing has virtually taken over written communications where we actually send something in letter form, put it in an envelop, stamp and send. I was an avid stamp collector for many years and was so excited to visit the Philatelic Museum in Singapore. It is both nostalgic and tragic. I root for the return of penpals and sending real letters to family and friends!

Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) is located in Armenian Street, a walking distance from Empress Place's Asian Civilization Museum (ACM), National Museum of Singapore (NMS) and Peranakan Museum. It contains collection related to philately, ranging from stamps to postal goods. It also has a modest philately shop offering stamps and tools for collectors. For memento purpose, you can buy stamp(s) and get cancelled (for your philatelic passport) or send a mail through this post office through the old postbox in front of the building. The collections are only modest, and can be seen in about an hour.
Every time I pass by the entrance of the philatelic hall, I am attracted by a red post box. We who used to send letters every week, but now we no longer need it. It has become a memory. I used to like to be in these small boxes I learned knowledge from it, but now I can only go to the philatelic hall to find the good memories of the past. It is also collected and sold inside, so be sure to bring some small gifts for yourself [price ratio] praise 👍 [interesting] praise 👍 [view] OK
This British-style building is located next to Fort Canning Park. There is an old red post box at the door. Inside is a bungalow with 2 towers. It contains many precious stamps from Britain, Southeast Asia, and China 100 years ago. You can buy stamps from many countries at the sales department at the door, and you can put yourself in the stamps and take pictures as a souvenir. [View] good [Fun] Very good [Price ratio] good
The Singapore Philatelic Museum is a very small private museum. It houses various stamps issued by Singapore in the past dynasties. Some of them are really old and very precious. In addition, there are many nostalgic little things here, which make people feel the sense of wasted time. Those who like nostalgia may wish to visit.
