A place fill with educational value and a good place for photography and nature fanatics.
If you enjoy bird watching then head to Sungei Buloh where migratory birds such as sandpipers and plovers stopover during the migratory season from September to March. You'll also be able to see kingfishers, herons and sunbirds all year round. In the mudflats and mangroves, look out for mudskippers, crabs, shellfish, monitor lizards and crab eating macaques.Entry is free. Take Bus 925 from Kranji MRT station. It's about a 15 min bus ride from there.
I like this place for the monitor lizards. Also bird-watching is an option for those who can sit in the heat for long periods. There's a good eatery.
We expected more from this. Natural beauty is ok - you have Johor looming at the other side of the pond; we didn't see many birds
Over the weekend, come to Sungei Buloh Wetland Park to get close to nature, watch wild crocodiles from a distance, inhale negative oxygen ions, and ease the pressure of life. This is the wisest choice, there is no one. In Singapore where there is no winter, it is also a good choice to come here to enjoy the "alternative summer". Furthermore, because Singapore’s greening is so good, this wetland park is the best portrayal, it’s free. It's really great.
