What people are saying:

After we participated in the whale shark tour, we decided to visit the tumalog waterfall. You have to take a motorcycle or walk down the mountain to get there. The one-way ride by car costs 75 pesos, and there is another drop-off point at the top. Each person needs an extra bike to take you to the next 1/4 mile. This is the cost that tourists will spend anyway. When you get there, the waterfall is quite spectacular, 100 feet high and 60 feet wide, with no artificial traces of natural beauty. Dip your feet in the lower water and let the fish eat your dead skin. What a wonderful view, a must-visit attraction in oslob.

    Not that good.

When we got there there is no water because the tour guide said that it is summer. But the view is amazing. You can take a picture as well.

    if you're in the area...

The falls are pretty and the pools nearby that have those fish that nibble on your feet is cool, but it's not a very big or exceptional place. If you're in Oslob to see the whale sharks, then it's wo...

    Overrated

One word. Overrated. I mean it was beautiful, but that was it. The water was too dirty to swim in, and even if it wasn’t there were some weird animal that was swimming in it. It was also far to walk,...

    Small Falls but nice

Only a 15-20 ride from centre of Oslob, at Falls you have the choice to pay 50pesos to get a ride down and back up or walk the roughly 600 meter steep hill. Entrance is free, and it’s worth having a g...

    Huge waterfall that is trickling

Beyond needing a motorcycle realistically to get here, the waterfall was trickling water at best. I know it is the dry season but this waterfall is spring fed, not river fed so it should be independen...

Additional Information

Introduction

Located in Oslob, Tumalog Falls maybe not be as well known as Kawasan Falls; however, it is no less magical a place. The moss-covered rocks and jungle surroundings make this a very attractive and adventurous place. Thanks to recent developments in the tourism sector, Tumalog Falls are relatively easy to reach from Cebu City. It is possible to swim in the pools around the falls, though during the rainy season the flow rate is higher and the waterfalls much more powerful.
