Port fairy is known as the jewel of Australia's Great Ocean Road. The high cliffs are towering and the waves are smashing. The natural landscape here is quiet and magnificent. It was originally a region where Aboriginal people lived for a long time. In the early 19th century, it was a harbor frequented by whalers. In 1802, the French sailing explorer first sailed here. The crew of the whaling in 1828 commented on the "Fairy Port". The first whaling station was established in 1835, and the first store opened here in 1839, the first post office opened in 1887. In 1843, the "town" was established. This is the end of the Fairy Harbor and the Great Ocean Road.
