Iceland's black sand beach | It's like coming to the end of the world
If it weren't for the light, the silence here would be terrifying.
Scattered across the entire black sand beach are large and small chunks of ice, like giant diamonds. It's bone-chillingly cold to move among them, the ground is black, and the sea is deep blue in the distance. The sunlight filtering through the ice cracks and the people passing by in motorboats carry the glimmer of hope for the entire black sand beach.
The shock brought by natural scenic spots is still highly recommended for everyone to see. Remember to take a photo with a diamond-like ice piece~

Beutiful nature of iceland

I showed you some pictures of beautiful beaches in the last posts. I have to admit: I prefer those black sand beaches over everything else! When you walk on this black volcano sand you can just feel nature and the power. I also like the contrast of the blue water and the black sand beaches. Have you ever visited one of those? :) Cant wait to see them again in real life. But for now: quarantine time!

Iceland
Iceland belongs to Europe, but it is not located on the European continent geographically, but is a solitary island in the North Atlantic, closest to Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and the United Kingdom. Culturally, Iceland is generally considered one of the five Nordic countries, with many similarities in language and customs with Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. However, this small country has countless unique places. Geographically, it is located at the junction of the Eurasian and American geological plates, so volcanic activity is active. And its high latitude has given it countless glaciers, including the third largest in the world and the largest in Europe, Vatnajökull. This dual nature of fire and ice has earned it the titles of "Country of Ice and Fire" and "Arctic Fire Island". More noteworthy than these loud names is the unique natural scenery shaped by this duality, making Iceland a travel dream for countless people around the world. Coupled with the avant-garde culture here, friendly nationals, and highly progressive ideas, Iceland is not just beautiful in the travel industry, it is a travel attitude in itself.
Plane wreckage
In 1937, a US Air Force plane crashed on the black sand beach on the south coast of Iceland. Due to the high cost of repairs, it has been quietly parked here, becoming a popular tourist check-in spot. Not only that, "Game of Thrones", "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", "Noah's Ark: The Journey of Creation" all have scenes on the black sand beach, becoming the favorite place for science fiction directors.
Some people say that if you can't go to outer space, go to Iceland.
Some people say that going to Iceland is a planned escape from the earth. I strongly agree, for me, Iceland is the place I have been to, the place on this earth that is least like the earth's surface. Over the past few years of traveling around the world, whenever I am asked which country I like the most, my answer is always - Iceland
Unveiling Mystery: Abandoned US Navy Plane in the Desert
After a strenuous 4-kilometer walk through the vast desert, we finally arrived at the site of an abandoned United States Navy DC plane, frozen in time since its tragic crash in November 1973. The plane's skeletal frame stands as a haunting reminder of the fateful day. Curiously, the cause of the crash remains a mystery. The desert winds whisper stories of a stormy night, where the pilot unknowingly switched to the wrong fuel tank, resulting in a catastrophic end. Decades later, the truth remains elusive. Standing here, I can't help but ponder the unknown and pay homage to the lives forever tied to this wreckage. ✈️🌵🔎
The wreckage of an airplane at the end of the world.
In 1973, a US Navy plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a black sand beach on the south coast of Iceland due to a malfunction, and has since been abandoned there. On the desolate and vast black sand beach, the broken and rough metal fuselage is even more poignant, mysterious and shocking against the backdrop of dark sandstone, creating a scenery like the end of the world, perfectly interpreting Iceland's sense of loneliness and otherworldliness, attracting many photographers from Iceland and around the world to visit. Today, it has become one of the popular tourist attractions in Iceland. After years of wind and rain, the already broken fuselage has become riddled with holes, and the metal lines combined with the scenery of Iceland's land create a sense of an impending apocalypse against the backdrop of black sandstone. This little accident has also added another man-made attraction to Iceland.
If you want to go to the airplane wreckage, whether by tourist bus or self-driving rental car, you can only park the car in the parking lot about 4 kilometers away from the airplane wreckage and choose to walk or take other transportation to get there. The one-way distance from the parking lot to the airplane wreckage is about 4 kilometers, and it takes 1.5-2 hours to walk one way, so the round trip takes about 3-4 hours. If there is snow or strong wind, the walking speed may be slower. Be sure to prepare adequately (especially mentally) before walking, because the round trip to the airplane wreckage is a total distance of 8 kilometers, and the road is all black gravel road.
Some tourists may like to climb on top of, inside, and take 360-degree photos of the airplane wreckage. Please be reminded not to leave any traces on the airplane wreckage and pay attention to the signs at the entrance of the wreckage, which also indicate that climbing on the airplane is not allowed and damaging the body of the airplane wreckage due to various photography behaviors should be avoided. If you choose to walk, it is recommended to download an offline map before departure because the entrance to the airplane wreckage is not very obvious and it is easy to miss.

Iceland is a must go country In the Nordic region. if you love waterfall, northern light, hot spring... then it’s a good choice for you. And finally if you don’t like the climate, then just wait for five minutes😅
Skoga Falls, Iceland: The most beautiful aurora shooting point
This is one of Iceland's largest and most magnificent waterfalls, 25 meters wide water flow from the top of the mountain, provoke a huge noise and water, making the surrounding clouds Embarrassed.
During the day, you can often see the rainbow in the sun, and the cloudy sky is also suitable for taking pictures. On a clear night, you must not miss the moment to wait for the aurora. When the aurora erupts, the fascinating elves, together with the magnificent waterfalls, are definitely one of the best places for Iceland in winter.
Before I entered the waterfall, I saw a faint rainbow
Skoga Falls. Because of the large amount of water mist, as long as the weather is bright and the probability of seeing the rainbow is extremely high, we are very fortunate to see one big and one small. Double Rainbow
Skoga Falls Skgafoss is one of Iceland's largest and most magnificent waterfalls. It has a width of 25 meters and a water flow drop of 60 meters. The momentum of the water is very spectacular
feel close to the waterfall The natural force of the deafening, the river poured down again, the water vapor was blown away by the demon wind, but it made the area more mysterious water mist
Skoga Falls was once the coastline of Iceland. It is located on the cliff on the Skg River coastline in Skoga, but since the coastline has receded 5 km, the highlands of the cliff have become the dividing line between the low-lying areas of Iceland and the mainland highlands.

Can you guess the height of this small looking waterfall in the very back in front of the mountain? It’s over 200meters high 🤯. Didn’t believe that either to be honest. When I first arrived at this place I was shocked. How can nature form something perfectly like this? It felt like wandering through a dreamscape. I’ve visited Iceland two times now and I’m already planning to come back some day. Can you relate? ;)

Here we go again with another small series about my adventures last summer. I have so much to show you, but I decided to show you Iceland at first, which is by far one of the most amazing countries on earth. When you think of Iceland you immediately think of huge waterfalls. And yes. It’s more than true! The country is full of it. These are just a few for example. Icelandic showers are the best ;) Have you ever been to Iceland?
