Seljavallalaug Swimming Pool

Seljavallalaug is a secret hot spring pool along the south coast of Iceland, located between the familiar Seri Yalan Falls (Seljalandsfoss) and Skógafoss (also known as Forest Falls, Rainbow Falls). Thanks to the increasingly sophisticated traffic, this little secret is not as remote as it once was, but only a small number of people find it. Due to its location in a natural scenic spot, the original natural style around the hot spring is basically maintained, and the people are rare. There is only one road between the two waterfalls to this hot spring.

The pearl building, which resembles a crystal ball, is a hemispheric building built by the Capital Hot Water Supply Company. It has exhibition halls, hot spring models, restaurants, etc., and visitors can enjoy the city scenery through telescopes installed on the observation deck.

It’s hard to find, but the scenery is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures, it’s very cold in winter.
