Gyeongbokgung Palace Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Went on the New Year’s Day. It was free admission when we went. It was nice to see and walk where history has happened. I finally get to see it for the first time after seeing it through videos. I did wish the palace museum was open to complete the entire experience but given it was holiday I would understand why it was closed. Would definitely come again when the museum is open as well. #Seoul #southkorea

aurelia.seraphine.nightingale The iconic Gyeongbokgung Palace 🇰🇷
Gyeongbokgung is one of the largest palaces built by the Joseon dynasty.
We went here January 7, 2024. It was freezing cold but worth it! We rented hanbok at hanboknam so we could enter the palace for free. There was a ceremony when we got here but we didn't watch until the end.
We took photos real quick then went home.
Getting there:
You can get off at Gyeongbokgung Station line 3 (Exit 5) or get off at Gwanghwamun Station line 5 (Exit 2). The palace is just a short walk from either of these stations.

🇰🇷 Gyeongbokgung changing guards ceremony
The changing guard ceremony at Gyeongbokgung palace is taking place everyday except for Tuesday at 10am and 2pm. This changing guard ceremony area no need to pay for admission fee. So you can come over and witness it for yourself. There is no dress code to enter Gyeongbokgung palace too. It is better you wear proper shoes because there is a lot of walking here. You can alight at Gwanghuamun station and walk over. This place is crowded during the changing guard ceremony and you can choose to stand anywhere because it is a large marching area for the guards.

Seoul Tower is a must-see place for visitors. Yes...it's a little touristy, but the view is spectacular, especially at night! 🌃🌙
You can ride the cable car for around 10 USD or take a 20-minute walk to the base of the tower. Take some pictures at the base; grab some coffee and then head up to the top of the tower for an additional 20 USD. There are some cafés, viewing stations, and a restaurant in the tower, but don't spend too much money at these establishments, just enjoy the view and take some memorable pics! 📷

Beautiful Autumn in Nami Island 🍁
#fallvibes
Location : 1 Namiseom-gil, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea
We took a boat to Name island and explore around for about 2 hours.
The end of October is the maple leaf season and the scenery is beautiful. We get to see the full beauty of autumn surrounding the island.
The scent of trees made me relax and there are squirrels & rabbits running around you.
It is a beautiful & romantic place to visit and a must for kdrama lover.
For muslim tourist, there is a musollah & halal food on the island.
Nami Island Stunning Foliage
We visited Nami Island in Autumn and it was absolutely stunning. Autumn is filled with golden foliage and cooler temperatures from September to November. We heard from our guide that Nami Island is excellent all year but the most popular times are Autumn for the stunning foliage.
It is the season that brings happiness to faces just by looking at their surroundings. Experiencing Nami Island in Autumn will just take your breath away. With the stunning natural beauty of Nami Island, you will get mesmerized. Specially because of the vibrant colors of the leaves during the fall season which gives it a lively atmosphere. With this in mind, you might want to get your camera prepared! Because this is indeed a picturesque place, where it is worth to take many pictures. However, do come early as Nami Island get pretty crowded very fast.

Autumn Rhythm in Nami 🍁🍂🍁🍂s
A must visit place in Korea!!
Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄
🍁Transportation:
(personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well)
- From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter
- Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station
- Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000)
- Taking the ferry to the island directly
—— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲

Everland Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Best place to visit for the year!
#freehotelstay this is the best place I visited in 2024. Oh my god the pandas are so much cuter in read. Fubao is so adorable. Everything is just so wonderful. #everland #Fubao #themepark #Seoul
Crazily crowded Everland in Korea🎢⛲️
#exploreasia
We were in dilemma and hard time choosing between the 2 best theme parks in Seoul. Guess what? We ended up choosing Everland (largest theme park in Seoul). It took us approximately half an hour to arrive from city centre to here.
We came here around end of October and the crowd was crazy! Can you imagine that you need 3 hours queue for the roller coaster! Averagely 2 Hours for other games.
There are lots of lots of attractions, lost my count and continue to enjoy this joyful place like a kid 👧🏻 Lost in the wonder 😍
Most beautiful theme park: Everland💙
Everland is one of the most beautiful and fun theme park I have ever been to! It is located in Yongin city of South Korea.
Its full of beautiful buildings, fun and thrilling rides, 3D-4D shows, zoo, different flower gardens and much more!
The most famous ride is the T-Express which is a wooden roller coaster with a steep angle of 77 degrees during the fall!!! It feels so scary and exciting to ride this roller-coaster that people wait as long as 2-3 hours sometimes for this!
The other rides include Hurricane, Rolling X Train, Double Rock Spin, Lets Twist, some water rides as well like Thunder Falls, Amazon Express, etc.
The zoo is filled with a wide variety of animals and birds, the whole region is referred to as Zootopia.
Then comes the 2 popular gardens:
The four season garden and the rose garden💗
Not to forget, there are many many cafes and restaurants spread throughout the park. Its a huge park so be prepared to walk a lot!
Best is to reach early and book some rides through Q-Pass during the initial hours. Weekends are particularly very very busy.
The visit ends with a very beautiful Moon and Light Parade in which many people and props and vehicles are decorated with lights! My parents loved each and every part of Everland and particularly the Parade was very very beautiful 💗💗

Scariest ride ever in Everland
Everland is absolutely a happy place, we were surrounded by so many primary and high school kids on that day ( unfortunately) because Korean students get to come here for their school trip?? I’m so jealous. Anyways, it’s actually a bad time to come because we had to queue for extra extra long due to the crowd.
I queue for 140 mins just for one ride, but that also is the most popular ride in Everland which is the T express. It is really the most scariest ride in my entire life! This is definitely one of the ride you can’t minded because it’s 2 mins long, and guess what, it’s a wooden ride!!
We only managed to play 4 rides in total due to the crowd, all 4 are fun and I’m sure they rest will be fun as well.
There are many small snack stores, we had a lot of small snacks here and there and my fav is the Oreo Churros 😍 unfortunately the queue was quite long as well :(
I would recommend this place if you have spare time to spend.

Myeong-dong Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Seoul Citywalk | A must-visit comic street in Myeongdong
I used to know that Myeongdong in Seoul is a must-visit shopping paradise when you come to Korea🛍
Who knew there was also a super cute comic street hidden
The houses on the whole street are painted with colorful comic patterns
Cute things can be seen everywhere, it's too suitable for taking pictures📸
The key point is‼
There are far fewer tourists than the main street across the road
The degree of commercialization is relatively light, more like a cultural and creative space
You can also feel the charm of the old and new blend in the Korean residential area
The buildings are staggered in height, and it is easy to take a picture of Namsan Seoul Tower in the same frame
No need to go there specially, but don't miss it when you go to Myeongdong⚠
🚇: Exit 3 of Myeongdong Subway Station, turn left, walk up the slope after seeing 711
📍: Seoul Jonggu Myeongdong Jaemiro
