Matheson Lake is located 5 minutes drive from the town of Fox. There is a trail around the lake. The most praised is the three viewing platforms on the trail. When the weather is good, you can see the snow-capped mountains reflected in the lake. When you hear about Lake Matheson, how can you not find out? Walking down the glacier, we took a short break and drove to Lake Matheson. Walking all the way in the jungle, the wooden planks at the foot are reinforced with iron wire, and there are many detours. When there are few people, you can't see other people before and after. Quietness is as if the air is condensing here, and occasionally distant vocals are heard, but the direction is not clear. Because it is impossible to see where the lake is, this 1.2 km is very long. Suddenly, there was a gap in the bush, the Jetty point appeared in front of the view, and the lake was just in front of the viewing platform. Today's good fortune is left to the glacier, and there is no sunny day in the evening. The distant peaks are covered by clouds, and there is no sunset. The second time we turned right at the fork and walked to Reflection Island. This one-way trip will be 2.4 kilometers, but I am mindful that this is the best one of the three viewing platforms, so I can't help but have a foot. After walking for half an hour, I finally arrived. A wooden plank stretches into the lake and is paved with a small platform on the lake, so it is called Island.
