Stockholm Museet is one of the best galleries in Europe and the palace of abstract art. It represents the most pioneering and latest ideas in Europe since the twentieth century. Many Masters'works, such as Picasso, Dali, Milo and Matisse, are displayed in the museum. All year round, there are various themes of contemporary art exhibitions, which attract many people. Visitors can't stop the enthusiasm of the audience even if it's snowy and windy. It's a must for literary enthusiasts and friends who like museums. The Art Museum is not far from the Stockholm Palace. If you have more time, you can play together at the same time and watch the changing ceremony of the Royal Guard.
This is an art gallery located on Stockholm Ship Island. The gallery is very large. It not only collects the real works of Picasso, but also the works of famous sculptors such as Dali. It can be said that it is beyond the expectation of visitors and is absolutely worth recommending.
Very amazing contemporary art gallery, not only the permanent exhibition price is free, the geographical location can be from King's Garden Metro Station after a 10-minute walk, you can also transfer to the bus arrival, the focus is on the exhibits are excellent. There are three or four works with Picasso's outstanding personal style, two famous works of Duchamp (Spring, Mona Lisa with beard), a large-scale work with Dali's time-lapse style, and other works are also very interesting. The whole process of visiting is very exciting, like this type of exhibition must not be missed.
I have never been to such an incredible modern art museum EVER. I went here on an impromptu 'first date vacation' with my boyfriend. There was an awesome Duchamp and Picasso exhibit and tons of selections from other contemporary artists. The most striking exhibit was a collection of Hilma Af Klint's work. This Swedish woman is a pioneer of abstract art and depicts many philosophical, scientific, and religious themes throughout her paintings. 20 years after her death in the 40s her art was finally revealed to the public. Overall, this museum is absolutely one of the best I've ever visited. Worth it.
Impressive but small museum featuring mostly 20th century modern art. The current (Nov 2015) temporary exhibition "Reality Machines" by Olafur Eliasson is outstanding. The museum is located on Skeppsholmen Island very close to downtown Stockholm. Entry free with Stockholm card.
Modern Art Museum is connected to the building! Although I don't understand it very well, I still feel that I have learned a lot. Love!!
If you’re a lover of pop art and contemporary art, the collection at the Moderna Museum is sure to make you happy. There’s a collection of Andy Warhol, including his films from 1960. Some of the works of Picasso, Salvador Dali and Rauschenberg are also part of the permanent exhibition.
