Things To Do in Stykkisholmur

Lighthouse Súgandisey

zwx1965This is a landmark of the town, especially eye-catching, you can see it as soon as you enter the town, and there are special steps to go up. The composition of the mountain is very special, the stones are arranged vertically, and there is no online inquiry about the reason for the formation of this type of mountain.

coo***anWe came to Stykkisholmur on rainy, windy and cold days, so we tried to find indoor activities. We purchased a museum pass, which includes the Water Library, Volcano Museum and Norwegian House. We got the code to unlock the water library door. There was no one else when we arrived. My husband fell asleep while sitting in a corner, and I had a good time, taking photos of the water column and reflections and refractions from all angles. How the artist strategically positioned the water column to create all these different effects is really amazing. I want to know what it will be like when sunlight passes through the pillar. Apart from these columns, there is nothing else in the room. It is very quiet and zen. This is a great place to sit down, meditate or practice yoga. I think people will like it or hate it. I stayed here for an hour until closing time. To be sure, the building is located on the top of the hill, with beautiful views of the port and village.

Oo西野司oO"Love is a light, so wonderful..." When I was in junior high school, I first heard Angela Chang's "Aurora". At that time, I didn't know what Aurora was. To this day, seeing the colorful northern lights, from a line in the straw hat mountain sky, becomes more and more dense, beating like a dancer, and finally burst out like a blooming rose. There is an ancient legend in Northern Europe that people who see the northern lights are all happy people appointed by heaven!

东张西望望东西This is one of the scenes of Game of Thrones, a very spectacular scenic spot. There are not many people, but it’s very shocking to see this kind of scenery at the northern end of the earth. I think only a place like Iceland can compare with Quan You so much.
