Bijia Mountain Babysitter-level Strategy, just afraid you won't read it
Bijia Mountain Babysitter-level Strategy, just afraid you won't read it!
Summer is here, and it's the season for rafting again!
I've been to Gulong Gorge and Huangteng Gorge N times, this time let's have fun at Bijia Mountain
~
Tickets: (Picture eight) You can order on-site and pick up tickets on-site at a certain platform, waterfall 68, rafting 88, combo ticket (waterfall + rafting) 128.
~
🚪Behind the Tourist Center is the changing and shower area, where you can store items, regular lockers 30 (plus a deposit of 20), lockers for valuables 50 (no deposit required), and the storage lockers can be opened multiple times a day.
~
🏨Save money tips:
➡️The entrance for hiking and rafting are separate, so if you bought a combo ticket, you can go hiking first, put your things in the storage locker/car, after coming down from the hike and having lunch, then take your things to go rafting;
➡️If you are driving yourself, you can just leave your things in the car without renting a locker (saving a little money), because the changing room is connected to the parking lot, and you don't need a ticket to enter or exit
➡️There's not much to eat at the Tourist Center, for lunch you can go to the neighboring 'Kengkou Meishi Village' (just look to the left from the Tourist Center, there's a staircase on the left side of the parking lot that you can go down), the food is decent and the price is reasonable.

▲Bijia Mountain Scenic Area is divided into hiking and rafting areas:
🚶🏻♂️Hiking area (Opening hours 8:30-17:30)
The essence lies in the Jiuchong Waterfall and Qianggu Creek:
①Jiuchong Waterfall, as the name suggests, is definitely very tall, the silver curtain cascading down from high is spectacular and cool!
②Qianggu Creek, a fun and photogenic place. There are both interesting mountain climbing paths like floating board bridges, rope bridges, rafts, and ordinary mountain climbing stairs. Two modes, switch as you like~
Rafting area (Opening hours: Monday to Friday
14:00-15:00, Saturday and Sunday 13:30-15:30)
If it's not the opening time, they won't open the sluice to release water, so it looks a bit dry and a bit low, the editor initially thought it was just! like! this! Felt cheated by the photos, but it got better when it was time to release water, the scene was okay
~
Rafting essentials list (Picture seven)
Powerful weapon: water scoop! A spoonful is refreshingly cool
Protective measures: goggles! To see clearly where the enemy is
~
⭐Overall, Bijia Mountain is very suitable for team building and family trips! Its rafting has exciting parts, but it's not too thrilling, suitable for first-time rafters or those who are a bit scared. So~ this summer, if you want to play in the water without the crowds and long lines, you can come to Bijia Mountain.
Because it's sluice-released water, the rafting is open for a limited time. Those who arrive early can hike first and then raft (hiking back and forth takes about 2 hours), those who arrive late should raft first and then hike (otherwise you might miss the rafting time)
The rafting stream water is very cold, and the showers only have cold water without hot water, so it's best to drink a cup of ginger tea to ward off the cold after playing Bijia Mountain
This is my first visit to Shenzhen, and I only went to this free version of the City of Music
Actually, I have passed through Shenzhen many times,
and it's a pity that each time was just a brief pass-through,
without the time to stop and
properly explore this beautiful city!
This time, passing through Shenzhen again for a transfer,
I deliberately left one night for myself,
and this time, I went to the Shenzhen version of the City of Music that I've longed to visit!
📍Location: Bijia Mountain, Shenzhen
🚌Transport: Take Shenzhen Metro Line 9 to Yinhu Station, exit B, walk to the east gate to go up the mountain, and follow the trail for 20 minutes to reach the viewing platform.
The weather in Shenzhen this season is so comfortable, neither cold nor hot, perfect for walking. A 20-minute hike up the mountain is not tiring at all, making it a very friendly hiking spot in Shenzhen. The key point is that it's also free.
📸Photo Tips
1️⃣The best spot for photos is definitely the viewing platform, where you can stand above and use a telephoto lens to take a picture with the city.
2️⃣You can also walk to the side of the viewing platform, where the angle makes it look like it's hanging in the air, which feels very impressive.
3️⃣Try to arrive before sunset for photography, so you can capture the beautiful light, and then it's just the right time to take pictures of the blue hour and head down the mountain.
4️⃣As the weather gets warmer, mosquitoes gradually start to appear, so take precautions against them when going up the mountain at night.
Nine-Gate Water Great Wall Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
[Mid-Autumn Self-driving Nine Gates Water Great Wall] I took my mooncakes from Dalian, sat on the high-speed rail and joined my parents, and drove the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday together. After the autumn rain, I came to the Great Wall on the water in Jiumenkou! Located on the outskirts of Yuzhong County, the Great Wall of Jiumenkou Water is located at the junction of Liaoning and Hebei provinces. It was built in Beiqi and expanded in the early Ming Dynasty (1381). It is connected to the Great Wall in the direction of the Southern Shanhaiguan, and has been extending northward to the Jiujiang River, and then built a huge spanning river bridge over a hundred meters, named after the city's nine diarrhea gates.
The Great Wall on the water and the tunnel under the city complement each other
Located at the junction of Hebei and Suizhong County, the Jiumenkou Great Wall connects Hebei and Liaoning. This is a place with stories, but these stories are quite tragic. Walking on the Great Wall and into the tunnel feels like crossing to the ancient battlefield, experiencing the feelings of the ancients, and sighing at today's life.

Dongdaihe Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I've been to Beidaihe and Nandaihe many times, but this is my first time in Dongdaihe!
There is a river called Daihe in Qinhuangdao, Hebei. The area north of Daihe is called Beidaihe, and the area south of Daihe is called Nandaihe. After leaving Shanhaiguan, it is the territory of Suizhong, Huludao, Liaoning, now known as Dongdaihe.
Dongdaihe has the best quality beach in the Bohai Sea, with clear water, fine and gentle sand, and a coastline of 31 kilometers. This is the largest forest oxygen bar in the Bohai Sea, with clear and pleasant air, very suitable for summer vacation and leisurely retirement.
Tracing back to its roots, as early as the Qin and Han dynasties, this place was a royal ocean. 2000 years ago, this was where the emperor watched the sea. There are the ruins of the Qin Shihuang's palace, and the ruins of Cao Cao's view of the sea. It can be described as backed by mountains and facing the sea, with excellent feng shui.
Dongdaihe has a full range of hotel, apartment and resort facilities, suitable for both short and long stays, and the prices are affordable. Here, you can enjoy seafood freedom!
Warm reminder: Dongdaihe has a well-connected transportation network, with high-speed rail, highways, and national roads. It is 298 kilometers from Beijing, 300 kilometers from Shenyang, about 3 hours by car, and 105 kilometers from Qinhuangdao Beidaihe International Airport, making it very convenient to get in and out.
